Electric motor

There are two different e-motors available for the rehabilitation bike: a front motor and a rear motor. Both motors are particularly powerful and of high quality. The motors offer different advantages, which you can learn about here.

Pendix Electro Motor

The lightweight Pendix electric motor is available for the rehabilitation bike. The motor is a silent mid-drive motor with integrated controls. Operation is very simple. LEDs indicate the battery charge level. A rotary dial at the top of the battery allows for quick and precise selection of Eco, Smart, or Sport riding modes.

The Pendix motor is located in front of the front wheel, which increases the downforce on the front wheel. This gives the front wheel more grip – ideal for uphill sections.

Grin Electro Motor

The right rear hub motor of the rehabilitation bike is a Grin electric motor. The Grin electric motor is a powerful hub motor with high torque. The control unit with display is clearly visible between the arm cranks.

The Grin electric motor transforms the rehab bike into a 2-wheel-drive trike. The front wheel is powered by muscle power, and the right rear wheel by the Grin electric motor.

This two-wheel drive gives the tricycle exceptional grip. With MTB tires, even steep inclines off-road can be conquered.
